"YOUR STEPPING STONE TO MISS AMERICA'S OUTSTANDING TEEN!"

INFORMATION ON ENTERING THE MISS CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA OUTSTANDING TEEN PAGEANT

The Miss Central Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen Pageant is sponsored by the Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Organization, a non-profit organization. The pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen America Pageant and to Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant. In the 2008 pageant held in November 2007 each of our winners received  $400 in United States Savings Bonds to be used to finance their educations. In addition, Miss Central Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen Erica Bristor and Miss Greater Juniata Valley Outstanding Teen Hannah Timm were given the opportunity to participate in the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant. In our 2009 pageant, which will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2008, our plan is to again award two titles, Miss Central Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen and Miss Greater Juniata Valley Outstanding Teen, should enough contestants register for the pageant. The pageant will be held in conjunction with the Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant, a Miss America Preliminary Pageant. The cost of entry for the Miss Central Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen Pageant is $150. Discounts are given, however, to contestants who also wish to compete in the Miss Miss MidState Outstanding Teen Pageant. For information on the the Miss MidState Outstanding Teen Pageant, please see their website.  All entry fees are non-refundable (except where a contestant has chosen to register for both pageants above and wins the earlier one thus causing her not to be able to compete in the Miss MidState Outstanding Teen Pageant.) The Miss Central Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen Pageant will held in Lewistown, PA, 30 miles southeast of State College on U.S. route 322.
